Welcome to the Etta Place Taproom, Capitol Reef Country’s only licensed bar. With a focus on Utah craft beverage produces like ourselves, offer a diverse range of curated cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, mocktails  and  elevated bar snacks. After a day of  hiking, riding or sightseeing, join us on our dog-friendly patio or cozy indoor space to taste our latest cocktails, ciders and meads. We are passionate about small town agriculture, crafting top-notch ciders & meads, and sharing our love of Utah’s canyon country with you.

To EAT & Drink

Being Utah’s only orchard-based cidery allows us to experiment batch by batch and continue to make our mainstays we are known for. Fruit harvested in our Torrey orchards and sourced from local farmers bubbles away in our on-site production space to create hard ciders, decdedly-not-sweet session meads, dessert-style meads and fortified wines. Join us at our bar for one of our recommended flights paired with our bar snacks or bring something delicious from Torrey’s excellent food trucks and takeout restaurants.

FAQs: FRequently Asked Questions

Do you offer tours + tastings? Tours typically last 30 minutes – 1 hour and offer insight into our production space and our cidermaking methodology. Book here. Our taproom offers flights of cider and mead to taste (a note – we are no longer doing the signature tastings that built the Etta brand beginning in April 2021).

Can we sit down and have something to eat? We’d love that! We have transitioned from our tasting room model to offering alcohol and a rotating menu of food. See our menu above.

What if I don’t like cider or don’t drink alcohol? You’re in luck! Beyond our hard cider we craft in-house, our taproom offers beer on tap from Helper Beer, spirits & cocktails, house wine, mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks like Utah-based Taproot Soda and Han’s Kombucha.

Can I bring my kids? Because we are now officially a full-on bar (thank you Utah DABS!), unfortunately humans under 21 are not allowed on the premises.

Are dogs allowed? While pets are not allowed inside the taproom, bottle shop or production space, they are allowed on our dog-friendly patio accessible directly from the parking lot. Please send the humans inside to check ids before getting settled with the dogs. 

Is smoking allowed? In the best interest of all of our guests, smoking is not allowed on our patio.

Where can I find your cider? Utahns can purchase our goods through the DABS here, while out-of-staters can purchase here. Also stay tuned to learn more about our subscription Cider Club.

What’s the deal with Harvest Host? We love hosting Harvest Host members traveling in self-contained units under 45 feet and arriving before 5 p.m. for a maximum of 1 night. Book through the Harvest Host website.

Can I charge my EV-vehicle at the cidery? Just outside our main entrance we have charging stations that our guests are free to use. We’re happy you’ve made the journey to visit the desert paradise that is Wayne County!

Can I host a private event? We are open to all sorts of things! Give us a ring and we can discuss how we can best support you.
